How Pool Works

A swimming pool is a closed system that continuously **circulates, filters, and treats** water to keep it clean, clear, and safe for swimming. The main components work together in a loop: 1. Skimmer and Main Drain Water from the pool flows through the **skimmer** (at the surface) and the **main drain** (at the bottom). These remove leaves, debris, and floating dirt. 2. Pump The **pool pump** pulls the water from the skimmer and main drain, creating circulation throughout the entire pool. It pushes the water through the filtration system. 3. Filter The filter (usually sand, cartridge, or DE filter) traps fine dirt, dust, and small particles, keeping the water clear. 4.
